Job Description
NYU Shanghai Social Science invites applications for an adjunct faculty position Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027 to teach undergraduate courses in comparative and international politics, with a focus on international political economy, international organization, and Chinese foreign affairs.
Requirements
- PhD in Political Science, International Relations, or a closely related field by the start of the appointment
- Evidence of research, policy, or professional expertise relevant to comparative politics, international political economy, political theory and/or Chinese politics
- Demonstrated or strong potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching
- Ability to engage constructively with faculty and contribute to the intellectual life of the department
