Materials Planner

Role Overview

The Materials Planner is responsible for coordinating and executing all materials-planning activities within the Materials Department. This role ensures that material requirements are accurately forecasted, efficiently scheduled, and aligned with production needs.

What You Will Do

Coordinates planning activities, processes materials, monitors parts status, and ensures inventory accuracy. Responsible for actions daily MRP messages, implementing Engineering Change Orders, and releasing work orders to manufacturing.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, strong knowledge of MRP systems, and MS Office, Oracle, and Excel skills. APICS certification is an asset.

Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of MRP systems, and MS Office, Oracle, and Excel skills
• APICS certification or currently enrolled in the program
