Newport Mental Health is seeking a Co-Occurring Clinician specializing in substance use disorders. This role involves providing counseling, assessment, intervention, and collaboration to clients seeking treatment, emphasizing person-centered recovery and promoting belonging and growth. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and values-driven individual passionate about improving the lives of individuals within the Newport County community.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field
• LICSW or LCSW/LMHC licensure
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience
• Exceptional interpersonal, writing, and communication skills
• Demonstrated understanding of diversity and flexibility
• Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills
• Effective engagement of clients
• Cooperative teamwork skills
• Credential to be a Qualified Mental Health Professional
