Mobile Crisis Clinician - Per Diem

Newport Mental Health is seeking a Master’s Level Clinician or Licensed Registered Nurse to provide community and office-based emergency services for individuals and families in Newport County, RI. The role focuses on providing crisis intervention and stabilization services, conducting clinical assessments, and advocating for clients in crisis. They prioritize a person-centered approach and promote diversity in their services.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in human services field or Licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Licensed at the independent practice level as defined by the Rhode Island Department of Health (LICSW) preferred
• 2+ years of experience in community health, crisis stabilization, or inpatient psychiatric settings
• 2+ years of experience working with individuals with trauma and substance abuse issues
• Credentialed/eligible to be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional
• Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation
