The Loan Officer is responsible for selling loan products, contacting prospective clients, and developing referral sources. The role requires strong sales skills, knowledge of state and local real estate markets, and the ability to negotiate persuasively.
Requirements
- Must have an active state MLO license in each state where business is to be conducted
- High-school diploma or GED and a minimum 3-years lending origination experience
- Strong PC skills, including Power Point, Excel, Word and Lotus Notes
- Solid knowledge of state and local real estate markets
