Job Description
Liquid Web is hiring a Data Scientist to build predictive LTV models and drive business growth. The role involves building and operationalizing LTV and churn models, developing marketing attribution approaches, and partnering with various teams. The ideal candidate is a data anthropologist who can tell a story through data and is fluent in finance and creative aspects of the business.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science or Growth Analytics within a subscription-based business
- Proven track record building LTV, churn, and ICP segmentation models tied to revenue outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and optimize upsell/cross-sell funnels and product attachment rates
- Advanced SQL and proficiency in Python/R
- Expert-level Power BI (DAX and semantic modeling) and experience with Snowflake (or similar cloud warehouses)
- Familiarity with GTM tags, event schemas, and the flow of web/billing data into a warehouse
- Strong cross-functional leadership and executive-ready presentation skills
