Tower Technician

Role Overview

Responsible for the installation of all aspects of wireless tower site electronics and hardware, cabling, and electrical where applicable. Climbing and working on communications towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment; performs tower maintenance.

What You Will Do

Install, replace, and repair antenna systems equipment; perform tower maintenance; inspect completed work to ensure all hardware is tight, antennas are level, hangers are properly fastened, proper support is in place, or adequate weather proofing has been installed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Working knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical equipment
• Valid driver’s license with a safe/acceptable driving record
• Pass a drug screening test and a criminal background check
• Pass in-house training program
