What You Will Do

Plan, install, administer, and maintain Oracle databases on a Windows-based platform, execute database migrations and upgrades, restore database operation in case of system or hardware failures, and analyze and resolve reported system errors.

Requirements

• Completed education or study in the IT field or comparable qualification
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle database administration under Windows or Linux
• Experience with database migrations, upgrades, and backup and recovery procedures (e.g. RMAN)
• Knowledge of analysis and resolution of errors and performance optimization of Oracle databases
• Experience in 2nd-level support and working with ticket systems
• Team skills, structured, result-oriented, and independent work is expected
• Very good German and good English skills
