Requirements
- American Occupational Therapy License
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services as outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or Section 504 plans.
- Conduct assessments of motor, visual-motor, and sensory-motor skills for students referred for special education evaluation to help determine eligibility for services.
- Collaborate as a member of the special education team to deliver comprehensive services to students with disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of student caseload requirements and update the Special Education Administrator on any changes.
- Demonstrate professionalism in handling confidential matters and materials.
- Pursue ongoing professional development to stay informed about current practices and research in occupational therapy.
