Senior Trainer (Carpentry Apprenticeship)

Role Overview

We're looking for a passionate Senior Trainer to lead the delivery of our Carpentry Apprenticeship Programme at Northstowe. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, hands-on apprenticeship training that supports learners from the workshop to the workplace.

What You Will Do

Deliver engaging, industry-relevant carpentry apprenticeship training in line with NHBC, Ofsted and ESFA standards. Coach and assess apprentices, ensuring their learning progress and achievements stay on track.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Experience delivering or assessing apprenticeships with strong results. A background in construction, ideally in house-building or timber frame carpentry. A teaching or assessing qualification (or willingness to work towards one).

Requirements

• Experience delivering or assessing apprenticeships with strong results
• A background in construction, ideally in house-building or timber frame carpentry
• A teaching or assessing qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with a passion for helping others succeed
• Strong understanding of industry standards, health and safety, and regulatory compliance
• A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel when needed
