Conflict and Governance Specialists

Nickol Global Solutions is seeking Conflict and Governance Specialists to provide technical expertise to donor-funded activities, focused on political transitions, transparency, governance, and peacebuilding. These mid- to senior-level roles involve assessments, analyses, planning, evaluation, and capacity building in conflict-affected environments. The specialist will also contribute to writing, speaking at events, and working with MEL systems.

Requirements

• At least six (6) years of relevant experience applying governance approaches within conflict and post-conflict settings.
• Graduate or professional degree in an international development, international affairs, political science, public administration, or law field.
• Prior overseas work experience, particularly with donor-funded international development activities.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience leading conflict and governance assessments.
• Understanding of trends and key approaches within the conflict and governance sectors.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with gender mainstreaming and inclusive development.
• Strong written and oral communications skills, including willingness to write technical proposals.
• Ability to travel internationally for short-term consultancies.
• English fluency; proficiency in at least one language other than English preferred.
