Production - Maintenance Machinist - Second Shift

Nidec is a leading manufacturer of commercial motors, industrial motors, and controls. We're seeking a Production - Maintenance Machinist to join our team in Mankato, MN. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for carrying out machining and fitting of metal parts, tools, and machines, including hydraulics and pneumatics. You will lay out work from blueprints, sketches, and written specifications, and operate machines and machine tools with precision and accuracy.

Requirements

• Vocational or high school graduate, or equivalent
• Knowledge of machining practices and techniques, basic mechanical principles and shop mathematics
• Ability to diagnose mechanical equipment failures and determine corrective action
