Senior Compliance Counsel, Global Strategy Lead

Nidec is seeking an experienced attorney with substantial global compliance experience to serve as Senior Compliance Counsel, Regional Compliance Officer and Global Compliance Strategy Leader.

Requirements

• JD degree and active bar membership in good standing in any U.S. state
• Minimum of 7 years of related compliance experience in a top law firm, government agency and/or senior level in-house role at a global company
• In-depth knowledge of corporate ethics and compliance program requirements
• Expertise in anti-corruption, antitrust, anti-money laundering, insider trading, economic sanctions, privacy and social responsibility laws preferred
• Background conducting internal investigations and managing investigation processes
• Proficiency using technology to implement and assess effectiveness of compliance programs and understanding of relevant data analytics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to risk management
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• High ethical standards and integrity
• Available for domestic and international travel, as necessary
