Nidec is seeking an experienced attorney with substantial global compliance experience to serve as Senior Compliance Counsel, Regional Compliance Officer and Global Compliance Strategy Leader.
Requirements
- JD degree and active bar membership in good standing in any U.S. state
- Minimum of 7 years of related compliance experience in a top law firm, government agency and/or senior level in-house role at a global company
- In-depth knowledge of corporate ethics and compliance program requirements
- Expertise in anti-corruption, antitrust, anti-money laundering, insider trading, economic sanctions, privacy and social responsibility laws preferred
- Background conducting internal investigations and managing investigation processes
- Proficiency using technology to implement and assess effectiveness of compliance programs and understanding of relevant data analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to risk management
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- High ethical standards and integrity
- Available for domestic and international travel, as necessary
