Matroos/Wachtsman - Able Seafarer Deck RV Anna Weber-van Bosse

The National Marine Facilities (NMF) department of the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ) is looking for a sailor/wakesman for the ocean-going research vessel RV Anna Weber-van Bosse. The position involves operating winches and cranes, deploying and retrieving sampling and measuring equipment, and maintaining the ship.

Requirements

• Minimum MBO education
• Valid sailing certificate
• Knowledge of ISM and ISPS
• STCW II/4 - Rating Forming Part of a Navigational Watch
• Good communication and administrative skills
• Valid passport and crew book
• Valid medical check-up for seafaring
• Good command of English language
