Project Engineer- New Power Generation Construction position summary. Job requires managing project engineering and detailed design phase, applying engineering project management during the project life cycle, and ensuring product quality through engineering contractor performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from a four year ABET accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering OR Engineering Technology
• 10+ years Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience in a utility-based environment
• Knowledge of applicable computer applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to deal with a variety of individuals from various backgrounds
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Function as an active team member and contributor
• Ability to plan safety into a comprehensive work scope and/or plan
• Ability to work in adverse conditions, such climbing to elevated platforms and in all weather conditions
• Proficient in coordinating, leading, and facilitating meetings effectively
• Ability to travel to support project goals and objectives
• Proficient in principles of project management
• Advanced knowledge of the processes associated with Fossil Power, Hydro Power, and/or Renewables
