Founding Accounting Hire

Role Overview

We're seeking our Founding Accounting Hire to build our infrastructure, leading accounting, reporting, and operational finance functions for a rapidly growing dual-use technology company.

What You Will Do

Prepare financial statements, perform month-end and year-end close, manage chart of accounts, allocate costs, oversee operational accounting, assign revenue recognition, establish internal controls and policies, manage cash / treasury, and own financial systems and data integrity.

Requirements

• CPA certification
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP
• Hands-on experience in financial reporting, audits, and accounting systems implementation
