Senior Developer

Nomura is seeking a Senior Developer to join its Reference Data team. The role focuses on developing Client & Account Onboarding systems, leveraging technologies like Java, Spring/Hibernate, and autosys. Requirements

• Strong Core Java with experience in multi-threaded programming and microservices
• Experience with Spring/Hibernate, JUnit
• Experience with Sybase (SQL/MSSQL)
• Ability to work in a global team environment
• Autosys, Maven, Jenkins knowledge
• Design paradigms like Microservices
• Messaging interfaces (e.g. json/XML/DTD/ structure)
• Cloud CI/CD development
• Linux Container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of Design Patterns
• Linux/Unix environment proficiency
• Rule engines e.g. DROOLS
• Angular/REACT
• BPM Tools
• Cloud native apps understanding
• Data-model concepts understanding
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of key reference data concepts (Counterparty or Accounts)
• Experience of lifecycle from client onboarding
• Team player with good communication skills
• Full software development lifecycle experience
