Job description
The Network Engineer II assists in enterprise network design, implementation, and ongoing support of network infrastructure hardware and software components. Coordinates with technical and non-technical staff and vendors on complex projects. Performs analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex problems on physical and virtual infrastructure platforms.
Perform daily prioritization of work, install and maintain campus-wide wired and wireless network hardware and software, resolve network performance issues, and create detailed network diagrams and configurations.
Requires strong knowledge of Cisco Catalyst network infrastructure, routing and switching, wireless technologies, and network security standards. Ability to use monitoring tools for troubleshooting and prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
