Science Tutor - Learning Center (Pocono)

The Science Tutor will help students with science disciplines including General Biology and/or Chemistry and/or Anatomy & Physiology, utilizing a personalized approach to help each student gain a deeper understanding of course material. Tutors will meet with students on an individual or small group basis on campus and/or online.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of the subject(s) that they will tutor
• An Associate degree or above in the discipline or a related field from a regionally accredited institution
• A grade of B or above in each course the candidate intends to tutor
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills, an interest in working with a diverse population of students, patience, and a genuine desire to help others learn and succeed
