Lab Technician - Biology

The Davidi Lab at Northeastern University is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support cutting-edge research on stress adaptation in extremophilic microalgae. The Laboratory Technician will work alongside the Principal Investigator and other members of the lab, in the execution of research projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry required, Master's degree preferred.
• Previous experience in molecular biology (DNA and RNA purification, PCR, molecular cloning design, miniprep, etc.), and protein biochemistry (protein expression, purification, Western blotting) is desired.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills and great attention to detail, as well as the ability to work individually and in groups.
