Full Time Faculty, Life Science

NorthWest Arkansas Community College is seeking a Full Time Faculty member for the Life Science department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and assessing student learning, as well as participating in program-level learning assessment and contributing to departmental and college-wide initiatives.

Requirements

• Master's Degree or higher in Biology, Environmental Biology, Botany, Plant Science, Plant/Animal Physiology, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Ecology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Zoology, Entomology, Microbiology, or Agronomy
• Minimum of 1 year experience teaching in higher education as the instructor of record
• Knowledge of the organization and administration of various higher education academic and social programs
• Knowledge of campus and community resources
• Knowledge of state, federal, and campus rules, regulations, and requirements related to campus academic and social programs
