Job Description
Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join their growing healthcare team in the Nursery and Special Care Nursery. The RN will provide specialized care for neonates, focusing on evidence-based care and patient safety. They will support collaborative teamwork and a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Deliver proficient, compassionate care to newborns in both well-baby and special care nursery settings (Level II)
- Apply NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and STABLE protocols accurately
- Support and implement Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative practices
- Provide effective education and support to parents and families
- Perform thorough pain assessments and implement appropriate pain management strategies
- Deliver culturally competent, trauma-informed care
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
