Job Description
Leicestershire County Council is seeking School Crossing Patrols to ensure children safely cross roads at school journeys. The role involves stopping traffic and operating a crossing point using a stop sign, wearing full uniform, and upholding the council's safety policy. This position requires being 18+ and previously applying for the role is not open.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
- Good understanding of road use, traffic awareness.
- Ability to handle equipment (lollipop).
- Knowledge of Safeguarding and child protection.
