The Tri-County Regional Centre for Education is seeking a teacher for a long-term substitute/term position. The teacher will be responsible for teaching Core French 4-9, Phys. Ed. 12, Art 11, and Cad Hist 11. The position is located in Freeport, NS, and is effective from September 2, 2025 to July 31, 2026.

Requirements

• Valid Nova Scotia Teacher Certification
• Bachelor of Education - Elementary / Secondary
• French major at university and/or extended period of immersion in French speaking environment and/or attendance at primary and secondary where French was the language of instruction
• Proven ability to communicate and work alongside diverse cultural and racial backgrounds
• Demonstrated ability to value the voice and contribution of others while remaining open to corrective criticism
• Completion of WHMIS and First Aid, or willingness to obtain upon hire
