Job Description
Novate Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Engineer I, Instrumentation & Controls to develop engineering designs for automation system design, including product selection and instrumentation selection. The ideal candidate will collaborate with account managers and other engineers to ascertain project scope and specifications.
Requirements
- Experience as an Engineer in the Industrial Automation and Controls industry
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with account managers
- Thrives under pressure and excels in a fast-paced work environment with a variety of projects
- Ability to create accurate professional drawings from concept sketches
- Proficient using AutocAD Suite, AutoCAD Electrical and associated automations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Solid understanding of I&C codes and standards, including the NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 79, UL508/A California Electrical Code (CEC) and ISO 13849
- Solid understanding of common automation components, including PAC/PLC, VFD’s, Process Instrumentation, Industrial Networking, Sensor, Servo Systems (Optional)
