Role Overview

Novolex is a leading manufacturer of food, beverage, and specialty packaging. The Bag Machine Operator - 3rd Shift role is responsible for operating bag machinery in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to quality policies and procedures, and meeting production goals.

What You Will Do

Perform tasks such as checking bags for quality defects, changing rolls, starting and stopping machinery, and reporting machine adjustments and repairs. Meet safety, quality, production waste, and housekeeping goals set forth by management.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must be able to think on your feet, work with limited supervision, and make sound decisions. Possess basic mechanical skills and be capable of standing for long periods of time. Ability to frequently lift and carry 50 lbs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Basic mechanical skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to frequently lift and carry 50 lbs
