Machine Operator

Role Overview

Novolex is a leading manufacturer of food, beverage, and specialty packaging. The Machine Operator will work in the Alsip, IL facility, operating bag machines and supporting equipment to convert paper into bags.

What You Will Do

Setup and operate bag machines, read and verify order sheets, understand print job requirements and quality issues, stack and label finished goods, and complete daily production paperwork.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be eligible to work in the United States, and be able to work 12 hour days with overtime as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
• Ability to work 12 hour days
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50-70lbs
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, etc. throughout a 12 hr shift
