Maintenance Technician

Role Overview

This position will be responsible for proactively maintaining operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Will proactively utilize approved preventive maintenance procedures.

What You Will Do

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment on the production lines for minimal downtime. Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer instructions, and engineering specifications.

Why It Might Be a Fit

High school diploma or G.E.D. required. 2-5 years’ experience in Equipment Maintenance/Preventative Maintenance Procedures. Technical understanding, ability, and patience to deal with uncertainty.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 2-5 years’ experience in Equipment Maintenance/Preventative Maintenance Procedures
• Technical understanding, ability, and patience to deal with uncertainty
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
• Basic understanding of Safety procedures
• Experience with Power Tools
• Critical decision-making ability
• Flexibility and adaptability and the ability to focus and pay attention to detail
• Experience in Industrial Manufacturing a plus
