4th Class Power Engineer - Maintenance and Operations

We are seeking a 4th Class Power Engineer - Maintenance and Operations to join our team at St. Martha's Regional Hospital. The successful candidate will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair facility infrastructure equipment and carry out maintenance and repair work as directed. They will also be responsible for all building operations and maintenance aspects of the facility infrastructure, and the operation and monitoring of the boiler and all associated systems and equipment.

Requirements

• Fourth Class Standardized Power Engineers certificate
• Knowledge of NS Power Engineering Regulations, Pressure Vessel Act and related CSA and ASME codes
• Must be able to work independently
• In depth knowledge of building mechanical systems, including medical gas/vacuum systems
• Ability to deal with multiple tasks and demands
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, Computerized Maintenance Management System, etc)
