Responsible for installing copper and fiber network communication infrastructure, operating construction equipment, and performing installation, testing, and repair of aerial and underground systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or educational equivalent
- Prior hands-on experience or technical knowledge preferred
- Valid driver's license and eligibility for DOT requirements
- Ability to kneel, dig, lift, and pull
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to climb poles, ladders, towers and other structures as needed
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
- Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmissions
- Class A CDL (including acceptable driving record) preferred
