Job Description
The Refueling and Remote Handling Engineer 3 is responsible for designing and developing reactor servicing tools, inspection equipment, and control systems. The position requires a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or nuclear engineering, and experience in implementing engineering design processes to design mechanical handling equipment and systems.
Requirements
- Develop resolutions to complex problems
- Utilize engineering input from across the NuScale organization
- Prepare, check, and review engineering reports, system descriptions, and specifications
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure interfaces and requirements are met
- Support procurement of activities related to equipment design, fabrication, and testing
- Assist other teams by utilizing sound technical approaches and engineering standards to solve problems
