We are looking for a Sr Manufacturing Engineer to evaluate, create and improve manufacturing processes, develop and implement manufacturing plans, and lead the design for manufacturability process.
Requirements
- Evaluates, creates and improves manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and improve current manufacturing processes, including equipment, documentation, training, gages and tooling/fixtures, to optimize quality, productivity and cost performance.
- Build and lead manufacturing plans that align with demand.
- Interface regularly with the manager and manufacturing engineers to assure clear and concise communication in a leadership role.
- Lead the design for manufacturability process, prepares process FMEAs, root cause analyses, plans facility, equipment, and resource changes and initial product builds, and ensure that Manufacturing deliverables to project plans are completed and on time.
- Promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Conduct cost analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Identify and select Manufacturing Capital Equipment.
- Preparation of financial analysis for capital expenditures for tooling and equipment needed in support of existing product lines or processes.
- Evaluate opportunities for process automation applicable to plant.
