Platform Operations Specialist

Role Overview

As a Platform Operations Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of Nasdaq's trading systems and market operations. You'll be at the heart of keeping global markets running — supporting real-time operations, resolving technical issues, and partnering with clients and internal teams to deliver seamless service.

What You Will Do

Monitor production systems in real time, proactively identify and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime, stability, and optimal performance. Support daily market operations, including system startup and shutdown procedures, application updates, and recovery processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in technical or market operations
• 3+ years of experience in technical operations, system administration, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments, including administration and troubleshooting
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, firewalls, and load balancing
• Clear communicator with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
