Ocean Spray is now hiring Maintenance Mechanics at the Kenosha Bottling Plant. The Maintenance Mechanics position is on a 12-hour rotating shift from 6pm-6am with every other weekend off. Mechanics earn a starting pay rate of $32.15 per hour to $39.14 per hour based on experience and skill levels, plus a shift differential of $0.75 per hour for the night shift.
Requirements
- Mechanical Troubleshooting skills
- Electrical Troubleshooting
- Machine Safety Inspections
- Ability to use machines and technologies such as Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), (Allen Bradley), Conveyor Systems, and Servo Motors.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, 12hr shifts, every other weekend, and possibly some holidays.
- Ability to work overtime for vacation coverage and training purposes.
- Must maintain excellent attendance reliability.
- No deviation from required documentation/ensure information is timely, accurate and complete.
- Communicate with team members on the same shift and between shifts to ensure continuous line productivity and effective operations.
- Bottling, canning, and manufacturing experience, a plus
- PLS (AB) and ladder logic knowledge experience a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Ability to pass initial assessment
