Program Manager (Evergreen)

Role Overview

Evergreen (Pipeline) Requisition for Acquisition Program Management Professionals to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Armament Directorate and other Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs. Program Managers support the government with planning, researching, analyzing and assessing the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of weapons systems and associated equipment acquisitions.

What You Will Do

Provide acquisition program management support across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle, advise Government Program Managers, develop and review acquisition documentation, monitor and evaluate program cost, schedule, and performance, and lead or support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).

Why It Might Be a Fit

Ideal candidate has experience supporting ACAT I–III programs or equivalent, with a strong knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle processes and DoDI 5000 series. Must be a U.S. citizen with a Secret clearance, with Top Secret (TS) or TS/SCI clearance preferred.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience
• Program management experience preferably within a DoD acquisition environment
• Demonstrated experience supporting ACAT I–III programs or equivalent
• Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), DAWIA Level II or III in Program Management or equivalent
