
Job description
The Senior Program Manager will provide support to the Program Executive Office for Nuclear Command, Control, Communications via the NC3 Weapon Systems Division (NCW). The role will involve comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force.
The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for planning, researching, analyzing, and assessing system acquisition in terms of development, production, deployment, and sustainment of weapons systems and associated equipment. They will also formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of relevant experience and a BA/BS degree. A MA/MS degree and 10+ years of experience in DoD/DoW environment are preferred. The candidate should have strong team player mindset, collaborative attitude, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
