The Performance Improvement Manager is an integral part of the Ohio Department of Medicaid's (ODM's) Health Innovation & Quality team. Responsibilities include managing quality improvement projects, directing research evidence-based interventions, and coordinating quality measures and health services data to support the design and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives for Medicaid populations.
Requirements
- Managing the development, implementation, and reporting of quality improvement projects (QIPs)
- Directing the design of Children with Chronic Conditions QIPs
- Directing and/or conducting research evidence-based interventions/strategies
- Coordinating the identification of applicable quality measures and the collection and analysis of health services data
- Reviewing applicable rules, policies, laws and guidelines to ensure compliance
- Formulating policy and recommending legislative changes
