Assistant Professor, Endodontics

The Assistant Professor, Endodontics position is responsible for providing education and clinical oversight to students in the Predoctoral DMD program and the Advanced Education Program in Endodontics. The position includes didactic course content delivery, course directorship, and other academic activities.

Requirements

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. from a CODA accredited school or equivalent
• Completion of advanced education program in Endodontics from a CODA accredited program
• Board Certification in Endodontics (preferred but not required)
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Oregon Dental License or a Faculty License
• Nitrous oxide or minimal sedation certification preferred
• BLS Certificate issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Experience in management of a private practice in endodontics (preferred)
• Experience in teaching, research, service, patient care, and academic management, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
