
Job description
The Work Control Planner supports operations, maintenance, and modification activities within a secure nuclear facility by developing, reviewing, and closing detailed work packages. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating work activities to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution in accordance with approved procedures, safety requirements, and operational constraints.
Develop and/or review work packages, create clear, step-by-step work instructions, incorporate safety, testing, radiological, and quality requirements into work packages, coordinate planning activities, identify and resolve work restraints, and support work package execution through final closeout.
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, ability to obtain DOE Q-Clearance, and have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related work planning experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
