Risk Analyst

Role Overview

The Risk Analyst plays a key role in creating and maintaining value for clients by contributing to the design, deployment, and optimization of risk management services. The position combines practices from quality management, risk management, change management, and continuous improvement of capabilities.

What You Will Do

Manage risk indicators and KPIs, provide support to technical teams during audits, collaborate with IT Risk teams, develop and analyze performance indicators, maintain relationships between technical teams and business lines, and coordinate with global and regional teams.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of management experience in supervising processes and technologies within an Infrastructure and Operations environment
• Solid technical training
• Excellent mastery of control frameworks
• Experience in the banking or financial sector (an asset)
• Very good knowledge of financial regulations in North America and South America
• Experience working with the General Inspectorate and the first and second lines of defense
• Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to mobilize teams in a context of continuous improvement
• In-depth knowledge of internal controls, with a strong ability to adapt and learn quickly
• Ability to harmonize ways of working with internal and external multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to identify frameworks, models, and norms supporting continuous improvement of services
• Good understanding of operational risk
• Excellent project management skills, focused on results
• Service-oriented approach, positive attitude, commitment, and team spirit
• Ability to evolve in an agile environment
• Technical writing, data analysis, and data exploration skills
• Excellent communication skills in French and English
