We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership and hands-on engineering for Trim’s Financial Wellness platform. This role is ideal for a senior technologist who thrives in ambiguous problem spaces, leads through influence, and drives high-impact technical initiatives across teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining distributed systems in production environments
- Strong proficiency across multiple programming languages and technologies, with the ability to learn new stacks quickly
- Hands-on experience in frontend development using Angular, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern build tools as well as backend technologies like Ruby on Rails, Node.js
- Experience delivering customer-facing applications in a cloud-native environment (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP acceptable)
- Strong DevOps experience, including hands-on work with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, containerization, monitoring, and production operations
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and sharing knowledge with others
