Receiving and Release Inspector

Role Overview

As a Receiving & Release Inspector, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and compliance of aerospace and marine components throughout the inspection process. You'll be responsible for carrying out detailed inspections of incoming and outgoing products, ensuring they meet design data, customer specifications and purchase order requirements.

What You Will Do

Carry out detailed inspections of incoming and outgoing products, assess complex mechanical components visually and dimensionally, review documentation, and ensure all certification and release paperwork is completed accurately.

To be successful in this role, you'll have experience in a quality inspection environment, ideally within aerospace or another regulated industry, with a strong understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to inspect components against detailed specifications.

Requirements

• Experience in a quality inspection environment, ideally within aerospace or another regulated industry
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to inspect components against detailed specifications
• Confidence using precision measuring equipment
• High level of attention to detail when assessing product conformity
• Experience with CMM inspection, particularly using PC-DMIS software, and knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection
