Opdenergy is seeking a Senior Financial Modeller to develop and manage integrated HoldCo-level financial models, incorporating multiple SPVs, technologies, and geographies. The role will also involve leading NAV Financing modeling, building and maintaining project and portfolio-level models, and structuring and analyzing U.S. Tax Equity transactions.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience in financial modeling within renewable energy IPPs, infrastructure/energy funds, or investment banking / project finance
- Proven hands-on experience in HoldCo and NAV financing models, renewable assets (BESS, solar, wind), greenfield and brownfield projects, and U.S. Tax Equity structures
- Advanced Excel proficiency, with strong capabilities in complex model structuring and auditing
- Solid understanding of Project Finance vs. HoldCo Finance, key financial metrics (IRR, NPV, DSCR, LLCR), and cash waterfalls and covenant packages
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Experience with international, multi-technology renewable energy portfolios
- Knowledge of corporate PPAs, merchant exposure, and capacity/ancillary service markets (especially for BESS)
- Experience using Python, VBA, Power BI, or financial automation tools
