Job description
We're looking for a Finance Assistant who is organised and proactive ready to thrive in a busy, evolving environment. The Finance Assistant is responsible for supporting the finance function by maintaining accurate financial records, with a focus on sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, and assisting with month-end processes including accruals and prepayments.
Raise and process sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner, process supplier invoices, prepare and process supplier payment runs, reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies, perform regular bank reconciliations, investigate and resolve any discrepancies, post bank transactions to the accounting system, assist the Management Accountant with preparation of accruals and prepayments, support the Management Accountant with month-end close processes, maintain supporting schedules and documentation.
