Medical Assistant

The Dermatology Center of Indiana is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant/LPN to join their growing dermatology and medical aesthetics group in Greenwood, IN. The ideal candidate will have experience in dermatology medical offices, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.

Requirements

• Prepares exam rooms for patient use
• Escorts patient to exam room and checks vital signs
• Interviews patient to assess needs
• Assists physicians and other providers with patient procedures
• Prepares specimens for analysis
• Schedules diagnostic tests and procedures
• Facilitates referrals to other physicians
• Contacts patients to relay test result information
• Performs manual inventory of drugs
• Disinfects exam rooms and lab
