Job Description
We are looking for a motivated professional with high capacity for learning and adaptation to work as a Consultor/Consultora Oracle DBA in our Cloud Integrated Services team. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in technological projects, acting as a DBA, Consultant, or Support Engineer in Oracle databases, and be interested in continuing their professional development.
Requirements
- Experience in migrations, updates, and consolidations of Oracle databases, both on-premise and in the cloud.
- Solid experience in Oracle database security, including access control, encryption, auditing, compliance, hardening, and best practices.
- Knowledge and experience in Oracle GoldenGate, including real-time replication, high availability, zero/near-zero downtime, online migrations, and hybrid and multicloud architectures.
- Technical experience in Oracle Database and tools like Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, XTTS, and Backup & Recovery.
- Experience in tuning and optimizing Oracle databases for performance, stability, and business continuity.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies from different providers and concepts of hybrid and multicloud architectures.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems efficiently and structurally.
- Proactive attitude and commitment to continuous learning, with interest in new technologies and best practices.
- Intermediate level of English for technical reading and communication.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle database features in the cloud, including Exadata Cloud@Customer, Exadata Cloud Services, Autonomous Database, and DBCS.
- General knowledge of networks and UNIX/Linux system administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact with technical teams and stakeholders.
