Materials Engineer

The materials engineer will create, optimize and monitor concrete mix designs for a variety of structural and architectural precast concrete products. This position requires a problem solver with hands-on leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced multi-project environment.

Requirements

• Design, monitor, troubleshoot and optimize high performance concrete mixes for precast plants including specialty mixes for structural and architectural precast concrete wall panels
• Support with mix design and troubleshooting for ready mix products
• Pre-bid review of project specifications
• Planning and coordinating field/plant and laboratory testing of construction materials
• Develop repair procedures for defective product which permanently restores appearance, durability and structural capacity
• Conduct job functions as needed between plant and field working environments
