Assembler - 1st Shift

Assemble equipment by following detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The role involves using various mechanical, electrical, and manual tools, and requires attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.

Requirements

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy
• Measure accurately using tools like tape measures
• Drill and tap holes for wires, hoses, and small components
• Identify required options from schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions
• Lift and stack subassemblies and parts (up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs)
• Crosstrain and work in multiple assembly areas as needed
• Follow written and verbal instructions precisely
• Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards
• Keep a clean, safe work area in compliance with safety rules and 6S standards
