The Manufacturing Engineer will coordinate manufacturing processes by developing, evaluating and improving manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering or related field.
- One (1) – two (2) or more years of experience.
- Knowledge of equipment manufacturing industry or automobile industry.
- Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma tools.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite; including a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in aluminum MIG/TIG welding
- Background in weld fixture design or improvement projects
- Working knowledge of weld sequencing and cool time in multi-weld processes
- Understanding of ERP/MES/PLM systems
- Fluent in 2D/3D CAD software (Creo and Catia Preferred 3D) (Draft sight preferred 2D)
- Experience with industrial controls and weld robot programming
- Strong dedication to the processes in which they will be the SME on and self-motivated.
- Knowledge of EAR-99 and ITAR classifications.
