Director, Standards and Metadata

CFA Institute is seeking a Director, Standards and Metadata to lead the evolution of content standards and metadata strategies. The role will define, govern, and evolve enterprise content standards and metadata frameworks to enable scalable, interoperable, and high-quality content across the global ecosystem.

Requirements

• Define and evolve enterprise content standards, metadata models, and taxonomy frameworks
• Establish scalable approaches for structured content, semantic tagging, and content interoperability
• Align standards with industry frameworks and emerging AI/semantic technologies
• Governance models, policies, and quality controls for metadata and content standards
• Partners with cross-functional teams to embed standards into workflows and systems
• Enable AI-driven use cases through structured metadata
• Manage resources, priorities, and dependencies across initiatives
